You can use Sbuilder to make a flatten.

i got it, but i have no clue how to work it.   i also have FS FLATTEN.  I can get the outlines set up, but when i go to install the Flatten files into ADDON SCENERY, it erases every mark on the surface of the ground, be it concrete, asphalt, taxiways, runways, aprons, ANYTHING.

1. do i need to make the Flatten files load HIGHER in the hiarchy list than the actual scenery???

2. when i create the FLATTEN .bgl files, isnt there supposed to be a SCENERY.DAT file that goes with them????  ( FS9 / ADDON SCENERY / Desert View Flatten / {scenery folder} {textures folder - naturally empty} {scenery.dat file}

I can not get the .DAT (data) file to create.... or do i really need it???

UPDATE ON THE SCENERY::
all that i have left to really do, is put some military style hangars on the flight line and maybe a few static planes out in the field as a "bone yard" and everything will be ready to ship out.

next step after packaging....... UPLOAD and Passout the freebies!!!!

ok guys and gals (if there are any), KDVI is pretty much finished.

I am not sure what AI planes you are using, so I am deliberately leaving SOME AI out of the files.  This way those of you who know how to use TTools and make Traffic Files, have an empty airport to play with.   I do have 3 C-17s, 4 Cessna 172 (in hangars), and 3 Special craft at the field for some eye candy so that the port does not feel so cold and lonely.

In the comming weeks, I might be inclined to make 'default craft AI' for the airport, but that might take a little while.

To give everyone that is following what is going on an idea of a time of release.  I have it out to 2 Beta Testers right now, and if nothing comes back "EMERGENCY - CHANGE THIS NOW" ... then I will be uploading it to the SIMV servers and maybe a couple others FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2009.  (Not this coming Friday, but the Following!)    ---- If I get any extra requests from members wishing to be BETA TESTERS, I will ship it to you within 1 day.

Looks good. If you need a hand with the AI stuff I can come up with some TNG's for KDVI if you like (just need to know what sort of aircraft to employ).

at the moment, i only have Cessna 172's and 3 C-17s at the base.   In the comming weeks, i might add / make an AI traffic file to include some 737's, 47's, 57's, Trip-7s, Cessnas.... etc etc (all default) so that nothing will really need to be added, just the traffic file.    I'll get back to you on it though, but if you want to make one and test it out on your machine... COOL.  Just let me know when you are done with it, and shoot it over to me and I'll take a look.

ok guys, I know that I said i would upload this past friday, but as i was going through the pages to upload the file, I receieved an email from someone that made the C-17s that I was going to use, and they told me that I am NOT allowed to use their C-17.  Angry Angry UGHHHHHHHH.  well, I just got permission to use ANOTHER C-17 and I am in the processes of getting an "active" traffic file together.   As soon as I can get my 'desktop' cleaned up again, and everything put back together, I will be passing the files to shipping to get it up on the download pages.

Sorry that it is taking me so long! Please hang in there and bear with me.

also guys, I know it is not much, and I only have 4 planes so far in the "ACTIVE AI".... but I will be adding to it.

so far here is what I have: (all planes are defaults, so there is no need for me to send you the "special ai craft files")

c17 ::                KDVI > KCHS
B737-400 ::       KDVI > KPHX
B747-400 ::       KDVI > KDFW
Cessna 172SP:: KDVI > KELP

(All flights will also return to KDVI.  --- ALL AIRPORTS above have AFCADS in the Scenery folder to accept these new craft.    UNFORTUNATELY!!!!!! if you have another AFCAD of one of the 4 airports above, the afcad associated with this file may cause your AI to stop going to your other AFCAD you alread have!  -- if you believe that you have one of these updated airports above with parking codes, PLEASE SEND ME YOUR AFCAD SO THAT I CAN MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CRAFT FROM THIS SCENERY!!!!!!!)

737 has not yet called "ground"
Cessna is enroute to takeoff
747 just called "ground" and got clearance to IFR to KDFW
C-17 has not called in yet for IFR to KCHS
