Not a Vista problem, 'cause i've never gotten problems like that from flightsim.com.

Sure it's not MSN Explorer?

Sure it's not MSN Explorer? < - - dunno

why not ask them < - - dunno, thought I'd start here

When I installed a program to use Fox Live, all my AIR files became associated with Adobe AIR application  ...

...

Had to re-associate them to open with wordpad

Seems the Operating System makes the associations, and is what mis-names files every time from FS.com

But of course I may be full of beans, as it were  Grin

When you install Adobe AIR it automatically associates itself with all files with the AIR extension. This has nothing to do with Vista or your problem. Adobe AIR is included with the Adobe Reader 9 update. If you don't need Adobe AIR I suggest uninstalling it.

I don't see the point of associating FS AIR files with Wordpad.

PS. I note that Fox News Live requires Adobe AIR installed to run. http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/new_adobe_air_app_delivers_live_video_fox_n...
