The position has arisen for a new mod to help out at our forums.
As before ...
'Remember our policy for all mods is IT HAS TO BE FUN! This is an enjoyable hobby and being a moderator here at Simviation should also be fun. There are no obligations for time or expectations to make any sacrifices in your normal day to day life...
Basic stuff - this is the kind of person we generally look for :
*Maturity - in attitude more than years.
*Ability to not take sides and see things form several angles - willingness not to take sides in a dispute .. (except when a dispute is against Simviation - then Simviation is the good side ..
)
*Reasonable knowledge of the Simviation site & forums
*Realise this is an international site so having an international attitude is helpful
*Sense of humour
*Willingness to be friendly as much as possible. Simviation was created to be a fun & feel good site - we are not 'rule robots'
*You should be a regular forum user .. though high post count is not necessary ..
If you are willing to join the 'dungeon boys' please send me a PM!
The decision will be made as soon as we have decided!!
Sincere thanks to anyone willing to be considered!! '
This Matter Has Officially Closed.
Thank you all for volunteering.

Someone doesn't earn the position by raising their hand first.
Being a moderator requires patience, social skills, maturity, the ability to enforce the standards, and also be able to resolve conflicts without taking sides.

Man, no one can take a joke...
...anyway having a sense of humour is part of the job anyway. It's all part of being nice and having people feel welcome and want to come back.

i think i wanna raise my hand here too... although i don't know what would be required or expected of me
i browse SimV on a daily basis (if not more) and although i don't post much, i read through almost every thread here (on my forums of choice that is)
also, i wanna ask, mods have their 'patrol areas' right? to which forums would this future mod be assigned to? or is there no such thing?
Cheers
