WINNERS, WINNERS, WINNERS

Judge Truck says :

"Well, it was a rough week to be a judge, I need to be more careful when I pick my themes.  After reviewing and reviewing and reviewing, I had to stop before I lost my mind.  After a cold beer and a hockey game, I did one more review, and made a decision.

Barbr!!

...

She did a terrific job of standing out and making her shot noteworthy.  No Golden Gate, which everyone seemed to think was the theme lol, yet managed to capture three major objects of the Bay Area...the KSFO, Oakland International, and the Bay, and you included some amazing coloring!!

CONGRATULATIONS Barbr!!!!

In second place, Bob70

...

A beautiful shot with terrific coloring and a ton of Bay Area scenery in it, Angel Island, Alcatraz, Bay Bridge, Golden Gate, Marin County, and the night life of San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf.

In third, Jankees

...

This shot shows some true bay area weather with the low marine layer of clouds, a beautiful horizon, and the long angle is great.

Honorable Mention:

EVERYONE!  There wasn't a shot entered that I didn't consider for the winner. I re-typed this over and over and over, well done this week SimV, I hate you for the stress you put on me trying to pick a winner, but it was awesome seeing all these shots.

Semper Sim!!

BigTruck"

Nice work on a great comp!

Judge Barbr steps up to the bench next week! Congrats to her and the other finalists, and great job to all that entered. Smiley

Cheers

ShaneG

It'd be cool to see an Oakland shot out of all of these a Southwest 737 maybe if someone wants to use one depart from Oakland they have a hub over there. Good looking shots, looks like people are starting ideas for the 2009 Fleet Week eh? Skoker? Grin

Blue Angels open house at the United maintenance area. This is what it really looks like. Quite a show to see aside from the actual flying they do.

I've been back there a few times now for military charter purposes, the scenery is well played!  Dare I ask how you did this shot?  Is it scenery or is it a Recorder shot?

Also if y'all get your Recorder from the developer's site there are some bug fixes. one of the main ones is allowing more characters in the file path allowing for more planes altogether Wink

Wasn't exactly my intention. Went through several sceneries and quite a few AC before reloading the T-45. Lo and behold, it had Marine insignia on it Grin

I know... I really didnt want to. But nothing says San Francisco like the Golden Gate. Now, if you could have a box of Rice-a-roni sitting in the right seat, while flying over the bay, that would be different! haha.

I tried my best not to, but I kept coming back to it. And even then I had trouble making up my mind what to use. I must have made 50 different shots using about 5 different birds.
