Well from reports in the media and the autosport forums, it would appear the teams (except Williams) want a change in the engine and testing rules. They want a further 3 to 5 tests in season, with the added engines to accomadate these tests.
I'm not at all surprised, and I personally hope that this will bring another test to Silverstone this year as it's the cheapest form of seeing these beasts.

Other reports are, The Renault F1 team are running up and down Kembles runway because Alonso is reportedly unhappy with how bad the backend of the Renault is. Apparently it's as bad as it is ugly and has no rear end grip at all. Which is why Renault have gone to the FIA and asked them to look into the Williams and Toyota diffusers. Roll Eyes

Its not been confirmed that it was Renault who complained but the others have all said they dont really have an issue.

"There are two interpretations of the regulations being exploited with these diffusers."

"If they can get around the second paragraph of the article 3.12.7 that demands a continuous line where it meets the flat floor at the axle line."

"This is an ambiguous rule which appears to allow more than one surface to exist in this area."

"This is a creative way of interpreting the F1's Technical Regulations as outlined below."

"Williams and Toyota's interpretation has a precedent, as it was exploited by most teams last year."

Sounds like a normal day in an F1 office to me Grin
