Can anyone give me some good specs that can run FSX on highest settings?
I am looking to upgrade my pc, so Fsx can run better.
I want to run it on highest settings, as well as scenery add-ons.
Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Sure, use Liquid Nitrogen while you're at it.

To get all the sliders up, this is what I use:

Of course, it still stutters in turns.....

I would really like to see the system MS used to run FSX. You know they had to have a computer fast enough to test everything and make it work fully maxed out. Why don't they just put THAT on the side of the box as a "recommended" system? haha

Recommended for maximum performance:

University of Washington Supercomputer
IBM Manufactured
360 Teraflops (minimum)
One large empty warehouse
300-400 milion dollars
Staff of 50 for maintenance

And we'd still have to ask Nick for tuning tips! Smiley (nick, I want to overclock my supercomputer. It's only 360 teraflops now. Can I get to 400 with this set-up?)

jewenham....thanks...priceless  probably the best fsx humor ever!!
maybe thats why ms gave up...fs11 might have been a vast improvement, where a person would have had to spend $10,000 on a rig to have it run properly...impractical....

intel i7 950.....asus p6t delux v2....asus gtx 285......raptor 150g...raptor300g (fsx)......liquid cooled cpu cooler.....6gb corsair 1600-777........windows 7......antec 900 case.....

A Cray computer probably couldn't even run FSX... the archetecture isn't designed for it.  Roll Eyes
