I have decided to do the switch over to DX10, I first had a few problems with aircraft texture not shoing up, I found a few updates from their manufactures and now they work fine, I also have flickering runway textures, I researched into this and found no fix (this didnt annoy me tho). what did annoy me it the horrible anti-Aliasing of in game footage of the autoge scenary. I tried to use the program nhancer with a load of recommended settings from a forum in another place; still no luck... there was an improvement but not enought to make me happy with DX10.

I am wondering whether there is anyone else out there who has bad anti-Aliasing on the autogen with fsx DX10, or whether anyone knows how to get around this problem?

Thanks!

Computer specs,

Intel Core 2 Quad q6600 4x 2.4ghz
3GB Ram
Windows Vista Home Prenium 32bit
2x 320GB HDD's
Nvidia 8800GTX 768mb GPU with latest drivers since a week ago.

FSX DX10 is a preview it is not finished and it has bugs

there is NO WAY to control AA in FSX DX10 with Nhancer. Nhancer is useless with DX10 in FSX

The best you will do in FSX DX10 is to enter the graphics area of FSX and CHECK AA and also set to Ansiotropic filtering allowing the DX10 flag to run its limited AA support directly to the card

Nick, just a question: once you activate the AA in FSX, what happens if you select the "enhance in-game settings" in NHancer ? Or is NHancer totally ignored from DX10 ?

I do believe it is ignored.. FSX is tied directly to the DX10 API through flags so there is not a lot you can do with it other than use the GUI to make changes

So you reckon this will be fixed in the new FS, or do you reckon it will come out as a DX10 windows driver?
