Regardless of how it looks from this angle, this is pretty much the best approach thinkable for this airport:

The mailman came in early in the morning, but was too fast on final, and was forced to do a go-around:




This guy was the last of the day, and was too high on final. He managed to stop the plane with a few feet of runway left though:

It's not closed, it's just the closest I could get to the X's IRL, marking, that it's closed for commercial aviation
