A beautiful sunset taking off from Chicago-Midway...
I thought this was a wicked view of the Chicago skyline
The remnants of Meigs...so sad.

Wow. Is the plane worth buying? The Alpha one?

This is the Carenado one, and it is one of my favorite birds. I don't know how the Alpha one stacks up against it, but I doubt it is better

Me !
As a lifelong Chicagoan I definitely miss it. Even as a kid and seeing a plane land over Shedd Aquarium was something to behold. I would take my kids down to the lakefront and they thought it was the coolest thing that a plane was landing in the city. They were used to the big guys since we live next to Ohare. So yeah, I miss it.
