Hi all and merry Christmas

I have a question regarding the size of bitmaps for 2d panels.
I want to build a panel that takes up the whole size of my monitor
so my panel can be on one monitor and the outside view on a projector.

If the actual viewing area on my monitor is 340mm x 270mm can I still great a bmp file that size and or does it have to be  1024x768

Cheers

Hey HSV,

My understanding of it is that if you're running at 1280 x 1024, then a 1024 x 768 bitmap should still take up the full size of your screen.

If you were to create a 1280 x 1024 bitmap, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Maybe one of the other guys can chime in?

Regards,
Strato

Thanks Strato
The main reason I ask is when creating a panel bitmap, can the bitmap be any size, or is there certian sizes the bmp has to be to show up correctly in Flight sim
