I have my Q6600 running stable at 3.6ghz. What processor should I use if I want to get even FASTER performance from FSX?

I have the nVidia 780i motherboard. I want to keep my same RAM--Corsair PC2 8500 4gb.

If possible give me those that will OC the best too.

I'd have to go with the Intel Q9650. I believe it can reach 4ghz (possibly higher)plus it has a larger FSB (1333)and cache size(12mb) than the Q6600, but it's not cheap. Wheher or not it'll dramatically improve your FS experience over your Q6600@3.6,that I can't answer.

the 9650 will require 450FSB oon the motherboard and probably a bit of tuning

I dont use Nvidia boards so I cant comment of it that board will do it or not

however that is the next step up and you must run 4050MHZ or better for it to be worth the upgrade
