Hello, I've recently changed from my Logitech Joytick to a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System with switch panel, and love it, but I can't seem to figure out how to rudder I don't want to buy the pedals (I have big feet).  I tried programming one of the switches on the yoke to be rudder, but it didn't work any ideas I just need some rudder i don't care if it's on the keyboard or not.

Also I can't figure out which setting the reverse throttle (is labled) to set it on the throttle quadrant

thanks
chris

Go to settings -> controls, and set a keyboard command for rudder.

You will need pedals or a twist stick though, if you wanna fly properly. Using the keyboard just makes it hard.

The only way to use reverse thrust, other than clicking and dragging the throttles with your mouse, is to press F2 with the throttles idle.

awesome!!  Grin Grin Grin

just goes to show that you only need 2 things in life... one of them being duct tape  Wink

BTW, if you add a donut-like piece to the base of the stick, you can block the movement of the X and Y axes so you only get the twist stick axis moving

Cheers

Actually I have the rudder mapped to the Y axis. Gives more range of motion and the spring and pot are stronger than the on the Z, twist grip axis. (The Z axiz pot is broken  on this one anyway so I've locked it)

In any case, delete the assignment to any unused axis.
