I just tried the Beech Bonanza(see my thread on this plane) from Abacus in a 7 day trial before deciding to purchase or not. The plane looked ok and flew well but the vc was poorly done IMO. Several important fight gauges including airspeed, altimeter and climb didn't work and were blurry. This was enough for me not to buy the key that for full time use even for $10.
They offer a lot of products for the MS Flight Sim games and some look intersting. For FSX the terrain package that increases detail looks good. The package for CFS2 looks very intersting. I would be interested in these 2 at least but after my experience with the vc on the Bonanza i'm not sure if i want to take a chance on their other products.
Please understand i'm not trying to bad mouth this company or their products. If anyone has purchased or tried any of their products on trial i would be most intersted in hearing what you thought of them.
I just can't afford to buy a package to find out it comes up short.

my experience with most of their products I have tried is not good, but a close to good one was the WW1 fighters, but the textures were still cheap and nasty, but they have the idea behind what products they do, just when it comes to making them they are not very good. Iv seen many better Freeware aircraft than abacus aircraft.
I wont ever buy from them again unless they clean up there act thats for sure.

Agreed, I bought their A380 and was impressed with what they tried to do but was not happy with the textures and the overall quality. I'd say stay away from it unless you can try the exact thing your looking at.

Sadly, I have a number of their products (I never learn). They are all quite inferior when you consider the likes of Just Flight, Aerosoft, Flight 1 etc etc, even some freeware is better than their payware.
My advice to anyone looking for aircraft add ons is avoid them like the plague.

The A380 wasn't bad, I'm not sure any payware producers make better ones. As for their 787, don't get it.

I purchased their CD version of Abacus; "EZ-Scenery" a few years ago...

Has anyone looked into their "INternational Fighters" package?
Some of the planes - Mig29, SAAB Viggen, etc have pretty good textures and VCs.
I think you are going to be surprised with what's coming doen the line!
