Would anybody be interested if I uploaded an informative speech I presented today (11/20/08) in Speech class? I looked over it, and it's pretty good, although SOME of the stuff isn't completely cited, however 95% of it I could cite a source on.
I'll upload it to youtube if y'all would like it, I think it was my best speech in there yet
.
The resolution is 720 x 576.
If I post it, though, y'all better not laugh, and remember that I'm only in 8th grade
.

I'd love to see that..BUT unfortunately when I try to use Youtube I get a stupid error thing, something on the lines of "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. " .... which I already have
No matter how many times I try ..I get the same thing...Not the only one by all accounts............
Best of luck with it anyhow...commoner

Commoner, I get the same thing all the time - usually just hitting refresh does the trick. Youtube seems to have a serious issue with my computer though; since many if not most of the videos I try to watch come up blank with the words "This video no longer available".
So I got Firefox. It's free, small, and works where IE doesn't.

Well, if anyone knows how to rip it from a DVD, tell me, I've never done it before, there are two folders, Audio and Video :S.
Also, I'll upload it to any site y'all preference, as it is the weekend, and next week we only have two days at school because of turkeyday.

Hehe I get the whole week off
Any site is fine. Google up a DVD to mov or avi converter. I would find one for you but I am posting this from my iPod and it doesn't have a clipboard lol

Try something such as Handbrake. A good free program for that sort of stuff.
I hate speeches. I was never good at them. I much rather just hand in my work that read it out to everyone else. Last thing we had to read out for was about a wierd illness that had taken everyone in the class ill. Only 2 cures were given out... And guess who got one of them

Well, I'll be uploading it in a while, it's ripping it now, then I'll have to see if I have to 'encode' it like I always have to do with repaints (why can't everything be simple!)
