Cleaning the lense on my dvd drive didnt work :\, it still wont play fsx, cod4 but it will play movies so im pretty confused, i know its not the games they are detected and run fine on another computer, cant play on that computer though its all stock with onboard graphics, so idk what to do. i have another dvd drive but when i hook it up my computer wont load past the windows xp load page so any help is apprecaited

A couple of things you can try Chris. Are the disks clean and unscratched?
Also try disconnecting the drive that seems to be having an issue and connecting up just the other one (make sure your jumper settings are correct).
If the other drive is playing films I'd suspect the disks.
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

i tried it again, got sidetracked came back about 20 mins later and the auto play had it up and running and been fine since then so idk :\.....cant w8 to get my new comp and stop having these problems, ty for the help and advice though

Many moons ago I had to learn all this stuff the hard way as well
