Just saying now thks for all the help with the destructive recovery runs great now Cheesy... But im going to Purchase a new computer since just yesterday i won $700 off a $10 scratcher ticket so i went to ibuypower.com and found one i think will be ok for decent fsx play.. ive always used ati and have never had a problem but im not to sure if i want to switch to nvidia or not... Either way im goin to put 2 graphic cards in it but i wanted some advice on what to get Nvidia or Stick with ati's x2 cards and try to get 2 of those in a comp if u can got around $1500 to spend as of yesterday....

I've started to lose faith in ATI a bit, and while I don't use FSX, I hear Nvidia is the way to go for that.

I am going with ATi with my new system... mainly because the 4850s are really good bang for buck... and if you chuck 2 in there u can just about match a 280GT While playing hi load games Wink

I go with Nvidia. They make great cards but a bit slow on the drivers. I hear they are getting better at all aspects. I have only had experience with the 8800 series and I think they are the best of all of Nvidia's cards.  Wink

Yes the 8800 series (G92 anyways) are the best bang for their buck. Not sure the exact price of them now but I saw an 8800GT for $100!!! WOW Cheesy

I almost did until they came out with the Agp 3850 wich worked great for my old comp... but i think its time to branch out to something that seems tried and tested... the 8800 gtx
