Hi Firemonte,

The following is extracted from a PM I sent to another member who was inquiring about Russian addons. It includes some aircraft stuff too:

----------------------

Keep in mind this is all for FS2004.

Quite simply, here is a list with the locations of almost all of the great Russian sceneries.
http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004/russia.php

I would recommend that you eventually download all of the following:
The ones in bold I would recommend you get immediately though.

Arkhangelsk, Talagi ULAA
Krasnodar, Pashkovsky URKK
Magadan UHMM
Moscow, Vnukovo UUWW
Nizhnevartovsk USNN
Nizhni Novgorod, Strigino UWGG
Norilsk Alykel UOOO
Novosibirsk, Severny, Siberia UNCC
Novosibirsk, Tolmachevo, Siberia UNNT

Omsk, Tsentralnyy UNOO
Rostov-on-Don URRR
Sochi URSS

St.Petersburg Pulkovo ULLI
Surgut, Siberia USRR
Tomsk, Siberia UNTT
Yekaterinburg, Koltsovo USSS

You can also browse through this site as well, take note of the "Must Haves" section:
http://rossiya.123.fr/e-main

Aircraft Recommendations:
Keep in mind that virtually all of these recommendations have steep learning curves, so be patient with them:

First and foremost, Project Tupolev's Tupolev Tu-154M:
http://www.fs-proteam.com/products.html?op=one&id=16&pw_patt=catalog

Followed by the older Tu-154B2, by the same group:
http://www.fs-proteam.com/products.html?op=one&id=18&pw_patt=catalog

More aircraft recommendations:
Samdim's Tupolev Tu-114 Base Package available here or at Avsim.

Samdim's Antonov "An-24RV Patch 2" package available at Avsim.

Xomer's Antonov An-14 package, available here:
http://www.avsim.su/files.phtml?action=download&id=2671

That should probably get you a good start on a decent Russian Flight Simulator collection.
One note about the aircraft, I would just select one to download at this time, like the Tu-154M, and concentrate on learning that aircraft, before you step into the other equally complex machines.
Also, the least complex in that list would be the An-14 in the last link, if you are interested.

If you have any questions, or need help with anything, please let me know!   Smiley

-Sean
