Not really a surprise Renault are now back as a top team. And were today In Freds hands the second fastest car on the grid.

Not really a suprise if Alonso is confirmed, that Piquet would be staying, i dont think.

Alonso wouldnt really want another hotshot fresh from slicks as his team mate would he?

I really doubt Alonso cares about his team mate he just prefers the team gives him the same treatment at the least. Now that Heikki has been commenting simmilar things about the teams treatment I think Alonso might have had something last season.
I dont like him but he's beaten Schumacher in a straight fight, that alone shows how good he is.

Give over. Alonso cares about one thing, and that's being number one in the team, which seems to suit his ever more apparently fairly unpleasant character - which may also have something to do with how average Piquet Jr was (certainly in the first half of the season) this year.

And on the no. 2 note, hopefully Piquet will be able to fulfil a bit more of his potential next year.
