Fingers crossed...

Today ITV are broadcasting their last GP before BBC get the contract back. As we all know, ITV's first GP was Australia 1997...

...and the last BBC GP was Suzuka 1996 - and that day some British ex motorcycle racer bloke called Hill won the World Championship.

Can lightning strike twice?

I hope not for two reasons.
1: I want Massa to win it.
2: The last memory I really want of ITV's coverage is that c*ck James Allen crying because his boy couldn't get it done two years in a row. And he'll have to live with the fact he'll never get a chance to explode on tv over a Hamilton win. I couldn't care less if Lewis wins 10 in a row afterwards, that small thing would complete my weekend marvelously. Cheesy
So long ITV, thanks for having an ad break when a race ended, thanks for going to break exactly the moment schumachers engine and title went out the window. Thank you for missing several key moments the past year, thank you for presuring Murray so much he got to a point where he hated the sport he loved for so long. Thank you for giving us one pitlane report who flirts so much with the british drivers almost half her age it makes you want to throw up, and another who from recent reports isn't even in the pitlane at all but hiding behind a garage while a runner does all the work for him.
But most of all thank you ITV for the last two years, you turned an interest in a good prospective british driver into an intense dislike.

Yeah thanks ITV, the Murray years i could live with, but since then ive not really enjoyed much about your coverage cept the bits brundle does.

But id never let a TV program and one mans obsession ruin my enjoyment of one the greatest drivers ever to appear in F1 since Schumacher....despite it being cringeworthy most of the time.

Cant wait for James Allen to make a complete fool off himself one last time as he ejaculates right over martin, sometime later today Grin

Of course, theres no reason to expect the BBC coverage wont be the 'lewis lewis lewis' show, but god those adverts annoy me, and goodbye to that silly sony music that I HATE SO MUCH!

And my HD+ box that should of come friday (thanks sky Roll Eyes) comes on Monday, so come on FOCA or FOM or FISA or whoever, get this damn coverage in HD!
