Hi Paul,

trying to learn MP on FSX without success.

Is it possible to use "LAN" & put in the Simv. IP:85.10.244.109 & connect, or must it be only via Gamespy to various servers where Simv. is not included.

I think I saw remarks in here about MP flying in FSX.

See you later.

Hello Luke...

Why not use continue using your trusty old FS 2004 for your Multiplayer flights?
No annoying problems then..Wink..!

Its one of the MANY reason why I don't use my copy of FSX!...Wink..!

You can also use your FS Navigator with it as well...(FS Nav doesn't work for FSX),,!

Scary Flight tonight in the Mountains!.... Shocked...!

Crash and I have got BIG insurance claims to make for damage to our aircraft..!!
Higher Premiums next Year... Cry...!

F...G-BPLF... Cool...!

And can't even get mine to work, see this if you can help?:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1225484971/0#0

It was good for a few flights before it packed up.

I am working with a friend on his FSX which is really good & tried to make the MP work for him. The flying is so smooth & his system is slightly less than mine.

Couldn't even follow the FSnav plan line I made let alone find the strip.

My best plane is the Honda which is hopeless for those small deep in the valley strips. Must resist & use slower ones, although it flies well at 140kts is slippery to slow down.

see you Sat.

Hello Luke...

I purchased FSX when it was first released, but never really used it, as most of my time is spent on Multiplayer Flights, here and elsewhere, and most of us use FS Navigator for Radio Navigation and its live Radar Display, which is not available for FSX...Wink...!
So, must of us still use FS 2004, which is also very reliable..Wink...!

FSX, in general, is a headache I can do without at present...especially involving on-line Multiplayer!.. Roll Eyes...!

F---G-BPLF... Cool...!

That's no problem Paul, as somebody sugested here, on the chap's with FSX we run it on one screen, & on his old laptop of a banger we run FS9, we take them off from same airfield & same arft & on fs9 screen open full screen FSNav.

So he flies FSX with FSNav on the adjasent screen.

But the few times my FSX worked the baron with glass cockpit had an excelent Garmin MFD minus the frequencies & distances etc, but with dual screen was a treat to navigate by.

If ever my FSX works I will be flying it all the time, except for MP unless I learn how to join free servers.            luke
