Nick -

I think I could get a few more cycles out of the CPU but this looks good.

Bastage!  Nice set-up!  Love that Read/latency.  That's a nice chip isn't it?  Can you increase your tREF to the highest setting?  Mine's set @ 16383T.  Can you do that w/ 1T?  Damn, and you can run 1T too, I hate you. Grin

I have lowly DDR2 Embarrassed.

You forgot to raise the tREF to the highest T value in the dropdown

Otherwise you have reached a damn good clock and I would leav it if its stable after setting tREF correctly

Congrats... that should hold you to FS11 and if you want to upgrade the video card down the road that upgrade will give you another boost since you have the CPU and memory speed/lantency to take advantage of a better card

Doh! Was getting tired I guess - I'll try the tRef tonight.

Smiley  so far so good!

newbie question - in the Bios I set the rate to 1N and in Memset it shows as 1T - same thing?

BTW, spoke to a tech at Intel who seemed pretty knowledgeable about the Q9650 and he said that the temp differences between the cores that I have is not that unusual with the newer CPU's. And, as you said, main thing is not to go over 75C.

You don't hear much about them but I have had great luck with Mushkin memory through the years.

Forgot to change the tRef - will try tonight.
