Good for Lewis! He's worked hard in this season Cheesy

Having said that, Massa has worked equally as hard, each of them were deserving of the title I think. Smiley

What a race though! Never have I seen a tenser race than that Shocked

I FEAST OFF MASSAS TEARS MWHAHAHAHAHA!

just kidding Wink, seriously what a heartbreak for the guy!  Last race, last lap, last corner....... this is what its all about folks!  I had the back door open during the race, and afterwards I think I heard the echo of my voice off the rockies!  Why are they changing the cars for next year again?

How am I going to study after that?

Congrats to Lewis (even though he should've wrapped it up last year).

Even though I don't like Massa & don't think he's anywhere worthy of being a world champion, even I feel sorry for him the way it turned out - he couldn't have done anymore in that race to win it, on pole, led the whole race - & then to get told you've won the championship, only to find out you haven't 10 seconds later.  Shocked Thats a tough break.

Still, made me laugh....

Theres no conspiracy. Inexperience as evidenced by his last sector compaired to his team mate.

And TSC, how can you say Massa didn't deserve it? He won more races, 6 to Lewis's 4, he had more second places. He's worked his way up through F1 unlike Lewis, and he's transformed himself from an erratic rookie to an incredibly quick driver as evidenced yesterday and saturday.
End of the day neither driver this year can say they outrightly deserved it, but then again neither can say they didn't either.
Massa took his loss brilliantly, and maturely which to me shows he's now on that level where next year he'll be back in the fight.
Of all of Ferrari's mishaps, they could if they wanted turn round and say, Singapore and one mechanics itchy trigger finger cost them the title. But they wont, they'll work over the winter, bring to 2009 a car once again at the front of the pack. Lets not forget they are constructors champions this season, which to me as a fan of the team is a big thing.

Head over to the autosport forums, theres a few already! Must admit theres a great little .gif of lewis passing glock and handing over some cash - made me laugh - belive it came from some of our spanish friends, seeing as they just cant accept that Lewis can and did win the WDC Grin

And Lewis won 5 races i think, not 4, and 6 really if you include spa, on track
