Single engine

"Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley have both hinted that switching to a single F1 engine - which manufacturers could still put their individual badge on even though the units would be technically identical - could be the solution to the sport's spiralling costs.".............................I bet Ferrari, Honda and Toyota as the only complete packages in F1 and proud of it too are really looking forward to this, not to say,  Merc and BMW are not also looking forward to it.......Seems like the end of F1 to many fans if it went ahead, Indycar, but with a lot more corners Huh

If that were to happen there will be no reason to have an F1 championship. There are already plenty of spec series' out there running the same formula.
Maybe it should be renamed "The Really, Really Expensive Skip Barber Championship Racing Series."

In other news: The Indycar Series is considering going with turbos in 2011. Porsche, Audi, and Alfa Romeo have expressed interest in the series since this was announced.
