Im very close to not giving a flying f*** about f1. It's about as rigged as an election in....
*not going to finish that statement
Seems a drive through penalty or a time penalty (as we have found out, the same thing towards the end of the race) that cannot be appealed against is rather a free hand at changing the outcome of a race, though I think that it is more in the direction of the stewards being a little over enthusiastic to hand out penalties for even the most minor infraction. However, Bourdais penalty, seems that the only answer is that an appointed official stands at the end of the pit lane with a pair of binoculars, has a good look up the straight for any
red
traffic and then lets the car leave the pits. When you have a pit that exits onto the first corner................pointless, I am only wearing out my keyboard.

Been thinking overnight ... this is only going to get worse next season.
With the rule changes that are due to come in next year reducing the aerodynamic effects and having the engines all the same, this will allow the cars to get closer ie. bring more overtaking opportunities.
This will obviously bring more opportunities for the stewards to rule on close shaves and racing incidents as the cars jostle for position on track. The more opportunity they'll have to affect the outcome of the races
off
the track.
I hope I'm wrong.

Well some are saying that all the rules are likely to spread the field out again next year, and for a few years possibly. The likely contenders being the usual Ferrari, Mclaren BMW and maybe renault. But the midfield is unlikely to be seperated by just a few tenths and more like the old days of a second or more.
