No surprises that the judges chose the Simviation 737.

Yeh the livery is nice, but look at the rest of the photo. I have high doubts they chose it just because it had their logo on it...

WOW. A fantastic effort by all those who entered and in particular the finalists! I... forgot to enter  Embarrassed oh well next month  Grin. My vote's in, and so much for the announcement...

by the way i personally think a GMT/Zulu time for the announcement would make it a bit easier for all us folk abroad of the States...

Still don't understand.  This contest was about the LIVERY and you can barely tell what this one is... Huh  So this was a good competition with a poor ending, hopefully the next one will be better (and will have a logical outcome...)

The contest was to produce a shot that had an interesting livery in it... not necessarily a shot that had that livery as its main feature. When it comes down to it, this is not only one of, but THE, best screenshot I have ever seen, and to be quite honest the fact that you need to look hard to spot the livery is academic, because you're looking so hard at the thing to start with, because it's so amazing.

Anyway, it isn't as if it's just a few judges who make the choice. Everyone who is a member can vote, as I'm sure you know, and the majority clearly decided that this shot deserved the winning spot. Me included.
