WINNERS, WINNERS, WINNERS

Judge RAF_Leigh has chosen his favourite shots of the USAF in action…:

In first place…

Mitch!!!!

...

"I love this shot, the right colours, scenery, everything and of course the USAF above Edwards just does it for me, well done!”

CONGRATULATIONS, MITCH!!!!

In second place…. (again… : ))

Todayshorse!!

...

"The sun, the road, and the plane makes this a very rounded off shot as well.”

And in third place…

SeanTK!

...

“The effects on the plane and seeing the Washington Monument in the back ground make this a very well placed shot!”

“WELL DONE TO ALL

Thanks!!

RAF_Leigh”

So Mitch takes it this week… I shall contact him right away with the news that he is now JUDGE Mitch.

Cheers

Krigl

Would Army Air Corps (before the air force become its own branch) aircraft count?

Interesting....

I have an idea in mind...so I'll enter if I can actually accomplish it..... Wink

EDIT: OK, not precisely what I wanted, but I don't have a lot of time to compose shots this week.
Using the Aeroworx King Air, in a USAF C-12 "Huron" livery, acting as part of the USAF's Air Force Material Command.
Notice the Washington Monument in the backround!  Smiley

The link doesn't seem to work. It took me to a myspace page and gave the message "This profile has been set to private" or something like that. Also, the rules say that your not supposed to link to outside images.

I like it. I figured someone would do something like this. One problem tho.... USAF doesnt use F-18's.

I have an idea for my shot, but may not get it in till the weekend. School comes first!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

here is a picture that my grandpa gave me a few years ago....a close up of a P-51 doing a high speed fly-by...he said he was shaking from anticipation and excitement.
