This topic crops up from time to time. Not a good idea as 4 more images will probably take it over the forum limit. Post a link or thumbnail if you wish.

This is the desktop this week:

It usually changes between landscapes or jets, depending on what google can find for me.

the funny part about getting a mac was when i needed a laptop for college. at the beginning of the year (january) i wanted a laptop so i could take notes and stuff. i was looking around and at different laptops. I, under no circumstances wanted Vista. regardless of how many updates and patches you throw at it i still think its crap unless you're NickN and have a supercomputer Grin

and i was looking at battery life, processors, memory, display and keyboard. i was initially interested in like a dell laptop that had a decent processor. but then i saw the macbook line and looked at the battery life and the processor speed. i was blown away! 4.5 hours of battery life on a 17" 2.6GHz laptop Shocked SOLD!

so here i am now with a MacBook Pro 2.6 GHz, 4 GB CAS 5 DDR2 667 memory, 17" high resolution glossy display (1920x1200 as opposed to 1680x1050), 200GB 7200RPM hard drive, and a 8600M GT 256mb graphics card. probably still considered one of the best out there Smiley

Good lord! What version of Windows is that!? Mine changes often. Currently it is one of my screenshots, Sometimes it's the latest photo of the growing space staion. Sometimes a shuttle on the pad. launching, or landing, and sometimes my latest picture of N832SC:

The full shot of the 3rd one down was my wallpaper till just yesterday.

Yup, it's object dock by Stardock, a great product Smiley. All done on XP.

The clock/system info is a freeware program called Rainmeter.
