Orbiter's cool. Alas, after many successful take-offs, orbit entries, re-orientations and landings in the Delta glider. I couldn't enter orbit once with the Shuttle. That glider really is "ideal", it's spoiled me.

But a 100m orbit? That sounds cool!

Technically, you could orbit an atmopshere-lacking planet at one meter. That is, as long as there's nothing in your way.

True... I was thinking of the velocity you would have to obtain to maintain orbit even for the moon... It might be dizzying to see the surface wizzing past that close and that fast! Much less for 1m! It all seems so slow when you're up a couple hundred kms from the surface, even though you're at the same speed....

Try shuttle fleet 4... it has autopilot. Smiley
