So I am a newbie to repainting (only ever done failed attempts on things like Extras) but I thought I would go for something a little different.

About an hours work or so, just getting colours and lines in the right place ready to properly go over, shade, outline and add details.

...

Tell me what you think so far. I haven't ever properly repainted, so I am learning all about where join marks are and the such. It isn't the pretiest picture I know, and there are plenty of areas that need work, but if you could give me some advice (especially with lining the tail white strip to the fueslage) that would be great

Theme for the final paint is '4000 displays'

Cheers for looking

I hope to release this as just-over-half-decent freeware.

Interesting! Are you using a paint kit or just painting over some .bmps?

I still have issues with the lining up, but if its a decent paintkit, they often have red crosses in nice places so when your cutting up the full fuselage psd its easy to place the sections onto the .bmps!

It is just repainted .bmps from the FSX folder.

I think I am nearly there with it lining up too.

The front section, middle and rear section white line aren't quite joining, but I think I can fix that easily enough.
