I agree 100% with you!! The movie was excellent!! Heath Ledger deserves a Oscar for this performance and his family can accept it in his honor!! I'm going to see it again but, this time in IMAX!!!!

Andrew, if $7-ish gives you a hard time, don't ever, ever, ever try a movie in the UK, it will bankrupt you. My wife and I went to see Hancock whilst on holiday in the USA. It cost us $20 in total including refreshments. The last time we where in the UK we took the children to see "Horton Hears a Who". Two adults and two children (3 and 5 years old). It cost me $49 (25 Pounds) for the tickets and $39 (20 Pounds) for drinks, popcorn etc.
On another point, this movie is a "12" in Europe. That means 12 years and older, but a child under 12 can see it when with an adult. I have not seen it yet, but am told that the amount of violence is quite high and somewhat brutal. What do those of you who have seen it think......and no, I will not be taking my 5 year old to see it.....He almost soiled himself watching WALL.E!

Ouch, that's expensive....!
No wonder I only went to the theater two times before I turned 16....!
It's $8 at the local theater, and that's with my military discount! I have a friend who paid $10 to watch it!
But on the other hand, i'm a cheap B*****d....

small kids would quite possibly be traumatised by this movie, althoughtheir is no blood and guts their are a few scenes i should imagine a small child would find quite disturbing.
i saw this on a friday so for the two adult tickets i paid £12 in all (£6) each, however as i am an orange customer and as an orange customer i can get two tickets for the price of one on a wensday
the cinema is cheap.... one day a week

Matt
To take my Parents and younger brother out to see WALL-E it cost me 10 bucks a head, plus i had to buy two twelve dollar combo meals, as my brother demanded....
So that comes to approx. $64...for a movie! I loved WALL-E....but to take my family out for a treat....that's just outrageous.
I know how you feel Matt!

Haha I come into this thread and the advert under SimV Forums is of the Joker.
I just got back from watching it. Brilliant film. Very amusing and clever. I love the bank scene... 'The boss told me to....' 'Really? He told me the same thing...'
Haha. So good.
As for our fellow in purple's magic trick... well that is one of a kind
(Not to mention the goodies in his pockets
)
Overall, I thought it was great!

Great film, but unfortunately it seems to have given all the moral guardians an excuse to pull out the soapbox and say the UK ratings system is too lenient, pointing at the higher ratings it got around the world (mostly 15s or 16s, compared to a UK 12A).

Bah, it will put the hairs on the chests of those <=12 year olds. Nothing wrong with a bit of mindless violence and burning carnage

To be fair, these are the same people who wanted all films that show smoking should be automaticly rated as 18s.
Clearly they don't have two brain cells to knock together.
