It's time for those Judge's Choice Winners!!

I found it very hard to choose... but eventually, with furrowed brow, I've come to my conclusion. The winner is....

...in first place:

A1!

This depiction of a set of disturbing events all taking place at once is almost ludicrous, yet is also a very exciting and attractive picture - a stand-out winner for me.

So many could be runners-up, but I chose ones which show more atypical situations (IMHO) though you may disagree. Anyway... in 2nd place:

AlexanderDz!

I like the story behind this one - a typical 'FS-accident' which sometimes also occurs in real life - I can imagine the feeling of the real pilots (and the sim pilot who'd hoped for a good landing after simulating a long haul) as they desperately try to bring the lumbering jet to a halt just before the nose plunges into the ditch - a close encounter they'll always remember.

And in third place...

I picked this one because buzzing the tower is such fun! FS is not just a simulator - it's also a sandbox game where so many things we can't get away with or just experience in RL are possible. Another dynamic and angular shot too....

Those three will go up in the gallery soon - congratulations!!

I felt I should give an 'honourable mention' to Aussiewannabe too with this wilderness encounter - I liked the concept of a lonely bush pilot meeting a wolf in the wilderness...

How close can you get...

A British Airways flight takes off with a defective front gear with a flock of birds in the way. Someone isn't doing their job very well as a Piper Cub wanders into the airspace trying to avoid a collision with all the heavies and the birds. The photographer is just missed by a few feet when taking this shot. Shocked

hey all. i thought this was a great theme and the first thing that came to mind, of course for me is military acrobatics. so i used aerial foundry's blue angels for the shot. i also used the flytampa dubai scenery, and i used fs recorder to take the shot. it took me quite a few tries. Wink

Nope, cant pick that sub up with this aircraft!

May not be the greatest shot, but I thought it was a rather unique angle! That is a sub in drydock that the Osprey is flying over.

Kind of a rough landing I had.

Edit: the gear is literally almost touching the fence, and the front is barely over the fence, not to mention it's at the end of the runway almost into water that can completely fit it in.
