We had an over night visitor last week at EDLP. The Lufthansa JU 52. These are the last pictures taken with my FinePix 5700. I am now using a Nikon D60. The aircraft was parked and illuminated on one side by sodium lamps and the other side by halogen. Two totally different effects. This is Sodium Side.
Halogen is Ju 52 part 2.

I'm sorry to bring this one back up after four years, but does Lufthansa still use this plane?

4 years, is that some sort of record
Yes they do, and if you sell your house you can get a 35 minute trip on her

Nice work Matt. I saw her at Duxford a couple of years ago. Beautiful to see and hear

3 Pratts eh. I'd love to see a flight station shot. I'm curious if it's been modded with modern equipment..

Nope, there are some YouTube vids that show the cockpit, still the old fashion vacuum gauges.

That is correct, apart from the engines she is very original and Lufthansa will keep her that way to...............as long as the EU does not interfere a la Air Atlantic and the DC3
