Of course, now he's locked in for the next year or so - now he'll have to do all variations of the 707, including the KC-135 and all teh ELINT variants...

I have to admit - he works fast....

As an aside - the "original" Boeing 717 was actually the designation for the C/KC-135 series which, although similar to the 707, is actually based off the "Dash-80" prototype, with a smaller diameter fuselage, smaller dimensons, etc.

The E-3, E-6 and E-8 variants, are, however, based off of the 707...

I've seen the C-135 reffered to a 717-100 in the same text as the ex Douglas twin being called a 717-200

Oh Dear Lord!!! Undecided

While I keep working on this one

     ...

I wasn't aware at all about this already and Very well made model 707

This is another model ,from other people, is the same model707 as the one I'm making
...

its a freeware and its available right here

http://www.simviation.com/fsxjets32.htm

Its really really amazing it only have one BIG but, but lets talk about latter

eventhough the plane is made by makemdl9 (For FS9) the animations ,the front leading flaps ,the WING FLEX  Shocked and the awsome VC ,I can't even make the shape of the windows like that..

THE BUT

In all aspect is a very well done airplane 707 ,unfortuanly I don't know what happend to this guy , he made an exquisites Job why hi didn't place FSX Gauges in the VC ?? Why He put these three Ugly pilots in all the seats instead ,In fact when you hit to be in the VC you show in the pilot and you can see you/his hand on the yoke ....
I really really can't understand ,the most easy part ,why he did this?

...

Undecided I will try to go on with this one but scouts words I wasn't aware how good this model was Shocked ..
there its something that some of you may think ,the truth is ,No one would ever dear to make an F-16 ,for what? ,there is the most perfect f-16 in all MSFS history made by Kirk Olson..
I made the B727 knowing about Vistaliners model wich is a lot much more beutifull and better made than mine.
I got inspire by this plane it self Because It didn't came with VC ,That's why Im trying to get a reason to keep on this work reason , But what if this guy decide to release a fixed VC with FSX gauges? ..Oh Dear Lord.. Embarrassed

Just adding my $0.02 here vis-a-vis 'pilots' or any other entity in
the VC...I personally do not like them. They get in the way of the
views from within the VC. Especially with FSX and TrackIR.

I have additional camera definitions that allow me to move about
the VC of the aircraft I fly with the flick of my thumb. If there is
a pilot of FE modeled in the VC their appendages just get in the
way. Why 'spoil' a nice, realistic looking VC with a figure that
looks like a ventriloquists dummy...?

I just experienced this problem with Ito's F2...you can's get to the
switches on the side panels because the 'dummys' arms are in
the way...

Again, just my opinion.

Oh, and I second the "L-188" request Smiley

i agree... no pilots allowed in the cockpits Grin

unless of course there is a really clever way of making them appear or to get rid of them... like a hidden button somewhere in the cockpit that triggers an animation of the pilots walking in and taking their seats... (of course that would require some serious quality animating to pull off...  mean, pixar style animation, at least Wink )

i remember that the WACO biplane from bill lyons had a removable pilot/co-pilot bound to the spoiler animation... since that plane had no spoilers, it was a clever solution to have (or not have) a pilot dummy in the cockpit... of course the spoilers then had no effect on the flying itself

Cheers
