I must admit the people I feel for the most are Davidson and Sato.. They've worked their asses off for Honda the last few years, Davidson especially gave up the best part of his career for them.
Honda knew from the very start they wouldn't do the season, so I think they are the ones with the most to answer for.

RIP my favorite back marker team.
Get Sato into the Indy 500 next year! I would pay to watch that guy kick butt!

Unfortunately this was always going to happen, as was evident at the beginning of this season.
What's sad about this is although they were heavily backed by Honda, they were one of the last four "private" teams left..
And then there were three..

Personally I think Honda are glad to see them gone, look how badly super aguri embarressed them last year at times. Yes Honda scored more points but more often than not it was the Aguri's who were a lot quicker on what was a budget of about 10% of honda's.

Yes, but they were effectively in the 2006 Honda. Everybody knows the 2007 Honda was a massive step backwards from the 2006 car.

Which further added to the embarressment because no one at Honda knew why things wern't working. This was something Ross Brawn has openly said in a recent interview. It wasn't until he sat down and looked at the data and at what they were doing to get the results that they were getting, that he realised what was wrong. Thus those people no longer work for Honda and Ross Brawn has brought in people who understand aerodynamics and CFD. Unfortunatly thanks to the higher ups in honda who don't have a clue about F1 hiring that spineless twit Nick Fry over Dave Richards it cost them a whole season. Hopefully they'll get rid of him soon enough and just give Brawn full control.

Shame they've gone, much as I fear STR will struggle to find a long term viable buyer. The irony of course that those running some of F1's larger teams were customer car operators in the 70s.
Hopefully Rubens will be persuaded to hang up his helmet soon, and Davidson can take the second Honda seat. I wouldn't give it to Sato - I think he's already had his chance. Send him to IRL.

We'll take him! The IRL has had a run of bad luck when it comes to Japanese drivers

He is. Somthing i read over on the autosport forums suggested that the reason he was maybe behind the collapse (or certainly not helping them try to get more investement) of SA was because he may have been heading there himself.
No SA, no place to move mr marketing guru Nick Fry
Ive never really understood the reason they got rid of Richards, though Fry was there when he was im led to understand.
