Hello Chums...

A bit of advice needed...Wink...!

I normally use my Mozilla Firefox Browser for sending and receiving my E-Mail.

Now....

Outlook Express includes the magic option of inserting pictures, .gif animations, etc, WITHIN The Text, at the current Cursor position, when composing the text....

By clicking on the envelope here...>>>>

...

...and browsing to the location of the picture, etc, to be inserted in the Text....as the text progresses...

I'm blowed if I can find the same option in the Mozilla Firefox Mail Browser.
The link to the Pictures are always placed in a string under the Address line when sent....
and when received, have to be opened using a separate display programme to view.

Any ideas how Firefox can be modified to perform the same function as Outlook Express for inserting pictures, etc within the Text?

Many fanks Folks!...Wink...!

Paul...  Smiley...!

Paul. I've used Firefox for a long time & didn't know that was possible. Are you using the Mozilla Thunderbird mail application or a Firefox addon?

On most E-mail software I've used you can insert an image from the right mouse click options.

Hello Doug...

Its a service provided by my Service Provider (Freeserve/Orange) for my E-Mail, (send/receive) using the Orange Mail Service, and displayed on the Mozilla Firefox Browser:
Orange webmail. Mozilla Firefox.

..any suggestions?

Cheers...

Paul... Wink...!

P.S. My incoming E-Mail is normally sent to, and opened with, the Firefox Browser...Wink...!

P.P.S. I tried the "right click" on the page....no option to insert a "picture"... Cry...!

Yep...

But it only adds the picture "details" ...(XXXX.jpg).....in a horizontal list under the address bar...in a similar way as all the "Forward" addresses are displayed.

They cannot be inserted as complete, viewable pictures, within the page Text, or viewed that way, as can be done in Outlook Express... Cry...!

Paul... Wink...!

...that little "Envelope" Icon in Outlook Express is worth its weight in Gold...Wink..!

That surprises me. I just installed Thunderbird 2 & it has the Insert option on the menu bar.

If inserting images is important to you I can only suggest you use Outlook Express or install Thunderbird. http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/thunderbird/
