RAF,

Many individuals indeed believe that go! was directly responsible for Aloha's demise. This was caused by some apparent apparent illegal business practices involving predatory pricing techniques and unauthorized access to info about both Hawaiian and Aloha. (Long story...)

Hawaiian Airlines caught them on it and won US$80 Million, and Aloha was scheduled to begin their trial against go! in October, but since the court in the Hawaiian vs go! case ruled that go! could continue to operate, using the same procedures and routes, Aloha suffered too much and could not maintain ops, thus having to shut down all operations.

The Aloha passenger ops are gone forever, but the cargo ops were scheduled to be bought by a Seattle company. No word on if that went through, or if it did, if Aloha Cargo will keep their paintjobs.

Now, the main inter-island carriers are Hawaiian, go! (yes, the actual title is lower case...), along with minor niche route support by Island Air (originally part of Aloha until early 2000's), and Pacific Wings.

I am predicting that go! will be gone from Hawaii in 2 years max, since they are losing more money everyday, and because they are trying to bring in CRJ-900's, while they are already tanking with their -200's.

The Hawaiian travel market sure is going berserk right now though, with every airline scrambling to reorganize its routes, and find more planes.

Great tribute, a sad story involved.  What Mesa Air Group, the parent company of go! and Meas Airlines has done is nothing short of criminal.

Markag,

What you are seeing is a 737-200. The aircraft used is created by Eric Cantu. Just do a search for the 737-200 on any FS site using his name, or Kittyhawk, or FFX. Also be aware that you must provide your own panel and sounds if you do not want to use default stuff.
