Take yourself back to circa 1986, Tom Cruise was an up and coming movie star, Val Kilmer was virtually unknown, and the term "wingman" was only used by real military aviators.  The cold war was still in full swing and the world went nuts over a movie called TOP GUN.

The new MAIW package isnt it...

Now paint those brown and blue, add the Elvis-AI 707 tankers and you have a reasonable realistic package for something totally different

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Very cool stuff Mike ... I love MAIW packages!

However, Maverick's motorcycle was a GPZ and not a ZZR, which were not available in 1986 Wink Roll Eyes

Very cool! I used to live right by Miramar and would have Tomcats, and Skyhawks fly over many times a day! Even surfed at the beach right out in front of the house where the girl lives!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

VERY nice, I love seeing a crowded apron. Grin

One question though, what taxiway textures are those? They look quite nice.

Ha ha......... Smiley  I'll pass that on to our modeler who made the bike, I'm sure he'll get a good laugh out of it.

That bike is an AI vehicle btw, "Maverick" takes a ride on it around the base twice a day.

Oh yea, the taxiway textures are freeware, I got them somewhere, don't remember where though.

Ah, shame, that. They really seem to improve the look of airports using default textures.

Love the bike, by the way, even if it is inaccurate! Cheesy Wink
