i would like a "door tool/gauge" for fsx,
since i can't open the doors in any way.. tried everything....
shift+E+numbers just gets me the GPS screen.... throttle screen... etc

and thats why i would like to see a gauge that opens doors of planes
instead of using the key combination

just use shift+E.  dont use any numbers with it
or you can check the key assignments in the options menu

Sound like your using the key combos wrong.

For open/close doors: Press (Shift+E) then release both keys and press a number (1 thru 4 are valid).  After releasing (Shift+E) you can press multiple numbers in sequence to open more than one door. You can use  just (Shift+E) for the main door as it will default to 1. You must press the number(s) soon, 1 second or so, after releasing (Shift+E) or the sequence will default to 1, the main exit.

Examples:

(Shift+E) or (Shift+E) then 1 will open door 1 (Usually main exit).

(Shift+) then 1,2 and 3 will open doors 1,2, and 3 (provided there are 3 animated doors)

The reason you were getting the GPS is, you held the Shift key down while pressing the number. This in effect issued 2 commands.

Example:
(Shift+E) which opens door 1.....and then.....
(Shift+3) which opens panel window #3, which is usually the GPS.
