Ok I kinda crashed my old PC when I was running XP, Duel 8500GTS boards, and a crossfire mother board(silly me).

Since then I have gotten the right mother board that supports SLi mode, and trashed my bad 8500's and now have:
-8800GT by EVGA Over clocked edition
-4 gigs of ram
-AMD 6000+ Duel Core
-And Vista Ultimate 64bit
-Acceleration Add
-PMDG 747 (which I have to reload)
-Saitek X52 Stick and throttle

When I had XP and was messing around with the Transload C-5, I was able to get rid of the weird sounds it had in favor of the real C-5 sounds, and it worked fine. But now that I have Vista, it seem that some of the files that were original there, are no being show in the sound folder. But yet during game play it is pulling them from some place, even though I went to "show hidden files".  Like in XP I remember there being a c5CFMxxx type file, but on Vista it is not showing any of them, only the basic sound files -gear, landing, start up, stall, idel, wind ect. but nothing for the in game engine sounds.

And on a similar note, it will not let me add the different paints for the E-8, every time I go to the gonfig, and copy in the info, it just stops me, and asked if I want to save and then nothing happens.
