This is Looking from the harbour at Aberdeen, the Cargo Ship in the far left deep water channel is ours, waiting to set sail for the rig.

...

Aberdeen Harbour is a tidal one, so watching the ship moving out to sea is like watching a video.  Make sure your sick bucket is handy, you need sea legs for sure.  This harbour is going to be upgraded too, the lighthouses are already added.

...

Our Cargo ship sets sail for 1 hour up the coast to Peterhead.  Where its joined by another cargo ship and they both tag each other out to the rig, another 2-3 hours away.  Here are some assorted pics of the upgraded Peterhead Harbour included with the rig download when released.

Here`s our rig, finally in sight.....

...

We can fly up onto the helicopter landing pad or for the less than brave individuals key in RIG1 to FSX as an airport code and be warped straight onto the pad!!!  Here, we can see the first of the two cargo ships arriving, this one from Aberdeen Harbour.

...

and just behind it is the Peterhead Cargo ship arriving

...

A lot of work from the moving cranes now as they sort the cargo ready for the ships to sail back to port again.

...

You actually see the ships moving into position.  If you don`t use the pod for landing/take offs then the ships, rig and ports make great scenery from the air when flying over.  I will be doing Whitby and Edinburgh at a later stage so this is going to be a good series for the East coast of the UK.

In reality, the graphics are a lot better than these condensed versions.  The water has come out terrible in the pic, on my system it looks brilliant.

Hope you like, Reider
