Hello Chums...Wink...!

A bit of an annoying effect has recently popped up on my Firefox Browser... Cry...!

When I close down some of my windows to the Task bar (Minimized), and then try to re-open it again by clicking on them (as you do) they just disappear further down the Task bar, and off the bottom of my monitor screen...so they cannot be seen!!

They can be re-opened by right-clicking and selecting "Maximize", but they cannot be re-opened in the "Minimize Window" (re-sizable) option from the Task bar!

..it's Max Size, (Full Size), or nothing... Angry...!

This is annoying, because the window cannot be "Re-Sized" once it is opened from the Task Bar.

Any one else had a similar problem: Window to Task Bar, then back again.

Any ideas, Chums?... Roll Eyes...!

Paul...parts of me need to be "re-sized"... Wink...(it's an "Age" related thing!).. Cry...!

Tip: I have a Dual Monitor Card, and I have two Monitors plugged in, but my selection in the "nVidia Settings Panel" at the mo', is for a "Single Monitor" display...(my Main Monitor)...Wink...so this shouldn't have any effect on the problem, I reckon!.. Roll Eyes....!

<Typo>

Paul have you tried rebooting your system? I used to occasionally get something similar and a reboot always sorted it.

Hello Mark...

A reboot probably does....Wink...!

The fault just seems to get worse as the day progresses, and I have more and more problems with opening a "Minimized" window from the Task bar.

Once I boot up the 'Puter first thing in the morning, it generally remains on, getting used, 'till Bed Time.
Maybe I should do a clean re-boot occasionally, when the prob occurs during the day...Wink...!

Ta, Mark for the suggestion..!

Paul....Size 7 Boots... Wink...!

Hello Rob...

Every now and again, Mr. Google insists upon installing a dedicated "Tab" bar just under my "Search" bar...(as well as completely modifying my standard Firefox Browser).. Angry...!

...arse...!

I have got used, over the years, to viewing all my opened (or closed) Windows in the Task bar at the bottom of the Browser, ready to select.
Its just that every now and again one of them wont open in a "Minimized" (re-sizable) state....it just disappears off the bottom of the screen!... Cry...!

I do tend to collect rather a lot of various Sites in my Task Bar at any one time!.... Roll Eyes... Grin...!

Paul.... Wink...!

Everything is OK first thing in the morning*. The prob occurs as the day progresses...!

* ...(providing that the Missus has agreed...of course... Wink...)... Grin...!
