Hello, Im currently looking for 2 modelers, maybe a texture artists, and a panel expert!! I am in the process of gathering research for the G150 and the G4. This model will be a payware quality aircraft. Im not sure yet on if I will release it as payware or freeware. Please contact me via my email for more information!

Don't be surprised then if you receive a "Cease and Desist" from their legal department.

Haven't you ever wondered why there are no commercial models of any Gulfstream aircraft?  Shocked

I love it when threads like these pop up.  Basically, what you're saying is that you have nothing to bring to the game and want everyone else to do the work while you try to pick something up and take part of the credit.... Roll Eyes  People keep trying this tactic, but honestly, what makes you think that someone who has gone through the trouble and headaches of learning Gmax/FSDS/ etc. is going to get involved with a project run by a rank amatuer?

I don't want to dicourage you, in fact just the opposite.  I want you to make dozens of things for me to download for free and waste my time with.  Wink  But the only way you are going to learn to make add-ons for FS is the same way almost everyone has done it.  Get in there, spend the time, frustration, and lost hair and learn it for yourself.  Above all, ASK QUESTIONS!  People may not want to be taken advantage of, but they generally will be willing to help someone new who is completely on the level about the problem they're having and their level of experience.

You will find SimV is actually one of the better forums around for this type of thing.  Avsim is a bunch of Flightsim snobs, and Flightsim is a virtual ghost town when it comes to development.  Also, go to some of the 3d graphics boards like Turbosquid and people will be more than willing to get you off on the right foot.

Make anything you want, ask any question; in the words of my high school science teacher: 'The only stupid question is one you don't ask.'  Just don't EXPECT people to go out of their way when you're not being up and up.

Well you have some good advice which I have already done and am doing.  And it seems to me that people like(so called) "me" piss you off when they ask something of this nature.
Im not one of your so called"people" that want to start something up and not bring anything to the table. I have plenty of stuff to bring to the table, maybe Im not that experienced in the Desiging world but I do want to and will contribute as much as I possibly can to my projects!!!! Oh and another thing, don't try and read people when you dont even f***ing know them!

Easy, there, "McLovin" . . .

Nobody's out to get you.  They're just trying to make it clear to you that this sort of endeavor is usually just a ruse to make other people take up the slack that the person posting has no knowledge of.  If you have designing experience, then it would be prudent of you to post some of your work (ie: anything you have involving the project at hand) so that others can see what you are offering.

Not to take anything away from SimV, but frankly FFDS is also one of the very best for modeling/texturing/panel/gauge design... Wink
