First Place...Mic




I get the feeling that this shot is just perfect. The lighting, shadowy hills, slightly foggy atmosphere adds to that intense feeling of suspense that accompanies war torn areas. Add to that the helicopter just doing its job of patrolling looking around for the baddies...Just awesome.

Second Place...Fighter25




While this image is actually very detailed, I had to take points off because the helicopter was simply cut out way too much...Had there been some more emphasis on the helicopter, this shot would have won the contest...The level of detail in this shot is just plain fantastic.


Third Place...Mustang666




This entry is also very good. I liked the creativity and simplicity of this one. The aircraft is just sitting there on the ramp, yet still accomplishing its job of wooing people. Not to mention the 4 Sukhoi's in the background really add to the whole airshow atmosphere. However, a few of the aircrafts were cut out a little too much which sort of took away from it IMO.
