The sun came out a bit on this lazy sunday, so I took a walk trough the countryside to get some fresh air. Took the camera with me...
The remains of the Vlaagt windmill. The original mill was constructed in wood, back in 1368. The land belonged to the knights of Malta in that time. In 1868 the wooden mill was replaced by this stone one. It didn't survive WWII. But the ruins still remain...
The sunset was quit remarkable once again. A long time since I've seen such vibrant colours in the evening sky.
Cheers,
Omag

Nice shots! How do you get those frames for your photos? I use Photoshop Elements 5.0 and it only comes with basic boring frames.

Basically I resize my original photo, select it using the rectangular selection box and copy the selection.
Then I create a new photo, slightly larger than the original selection and I paste the selected part into the new canvas. After that one can change the colour of the background...
Took me a while to figure this out.

Thanks! I've been messing around with the layers in P.S. Elements to create a similar effect. I still have much to learn about that program. Thanks again!

First one reminds me of childhood memories........I used to play around an old windmill on Cleadon Hills........memory fades over the years and it may not be near as complete as yours here Kris.
