Just a follow on from the racing license post.
Does anyone know where I might find some information on the helmet design that Nick Heidfeld has, by that I mean the heat changing paint scheme. I want to get some pricing ideas but have no idea of its proper name. I've got the design I would use already planned out. I know it's going to be pricey aswell. So this is more a research rather than I'll be buying monday morning thing

Save the money Craig, motorsport is expensive enough, without wasting money on a helmet design that won't make you go any faster.

Indeed, like I said its not something I plan on buying any time soon, I'd just like to do some research on it.

Probably the same over here...

Motorcycle Helmets are coated with transfers, and then Lacquered to "fix" them.

Painting a Helmet is not to be recommended. Many paints will destroy the integrity of the Helmet material, Plastic, Kevlar, or Fiberglass...Wink...!
