I woke up this morning to bright sunshine. A nice surprise after a week of rotten weather. Thought I would toddle over to Shoreham to see what was going on. Glad I went as the light was almost perfect. Here's a few of my typical over-the-fence shots to start off the New Year.*
Three very smart examples of the Jodel family. A nice Jodel D140C. Those are birds, not dust bunnies.
followed by two of its younger sisters, the Robin DR400/500.
I see no ships.
Pretty little Reims Cessna 150L Aerobat.
Some of the more interesting locals.
Beagle Pup. Designed & built at Shoreham.
Super Decathlon.
One of the resident Chippies for Craig & Mark.
*I was hoping to post some shots of the New Year's Day fly-in at Popham. It was well supported & a great day out but the light was bad & they didn't come out as I would have liked.

An excellent start to 2008 Doug.
I can't help thinking the pilot in the second Robin looks a little tense.

It's a Robin. (Avions Pierre Robin)
Very smart indeed. Amazing the difference a decent paint scheme makes.

Ta Mic. The owners live at Chelmsford, Essex which doesn't mean a lot. I forgot to check the arrivals on the live Flight Info board to see where it came from.

Well spotted Mic. Looks like the same paint job. Maybe mine escaped.

Very sad. Perhaps G-BCDY is a replacement.

It reminds me of the C-150 that is availible for flightsimulator made by those french guys.
Nice shots, although some look a bit overexposed.
