Pt II of this.  Just some of the planes...  I wish I could afford to buy one of those Maules...  The Sikorsky (I think that's it) and the Maules are transient, the Cubs (4 total) are all owned by Brown...

That is, in fact, a twin Seabee... I think that's also theirs; I've heard they offer dual in it.

That first one might be a Piper Vagabond- basically a side-by-side Cub.
It looks sad...  Cry

The UC Twin Bee is just a Republic SeaBee with a pair of IO-360s added and a lengthened fuselage.

The UC-1 looks a bit odd compared to the original RC-3, but I still think the basic design is very cool-looking, and most Sea/Twin Bee owners love them madly, quirks and all.
I  think the UC-1 would be a good platform for a pilot looking to get that multi rating and seaplane rating... if they could handle that beast, they'd be set to fly 'most any twin or amphib (or twin amphib).

Check out this page... the author/owner lists a series of significant squawks... but the last sentence sums up his feelings. Grin
