It in fact is the EF 70-300 mm USM IS lens.

I sugest you take a look into that one, as it's optical a great deal better than the 75-300 mm lens. It may be a bit more expensive, but several people warned me about cheaper tele's. They go soft at the long end, wich we do use the most in spotting.

the old 75-300mm worked fine for me as an entry level lens last year....it produces some great photos if you use it right and are proficient in post processing.

The light sure was good to you, Kris. Terrific frames.

I'm waiting for a day when I can test my new lens in good light at N40 (won't be 'till spring! Sad).
