I was so disgusted at the fact that neither FTX nor REX will be out for Xmas (NO!! not ANOTHER darn X - word  Roll Eyes Grin) that I went and bought myself a racing wheel and TOCA 3. Before Christmas comes I decided to try and see what I had lying around that I could drive and hone my motor skills and reactions a little using the keyboard arrow keys... Well, this game came free with a magazine, I've seen it for around 8 Euros in the shops, and was made in 2004, though it was a budget title even then. Can anyone name the game?

There are no licenced cars or tracks, but it feels fast and is fun to drive, a bit like Need For Speed (in arcade mode anyway, haven't tried the simulation mode), has shadows from clouds on the ground, reflections on the bonnet and 3d spectators, plus the car deforms and gains dirt as it goes... not bad for a 3 year old budget title I reckon. Especially as it was free  Cheesy

Anyway, here are 2 sets of me at the helm of my "Lion 110" lol, just starting out, on a race around Arizona or somewhere, shot during the replay, featuring the game's special filters that unfortunately can only be used during replay. Hope you like these old-gen shots!!
