Yes it's all MSTS with freeware Addons.
Scenery is quite different. There are lots of excellent Addons (free and payware). I'm not a great fan of the default MS routes.
Had a hard time to get to know how to put trainsets together and install scenery / other addons.

But now it's quite fun.

Cheers,
Fabian

Thanks! Where do you get the add-ons from? I had that sim a few years ago but gave it to someone because I wasn't using it much and couldn't find any freeware sites or ideas how to add scenery. It's really cheap now though, might have to buy it again  Cheesy

There's a TrainSim community just like there is a flightsim community.

Check:

http://www.train-sim.com/
French:
http://www.activitysimulatorworld.net/ASW_Msts_index.htm
http://www.funtrain.net/index.php?cible=idf
(Where I got my TGV and TGV route)
German and English:
http://www.zugsimulator.de/new/_cms/index.php?action=dlarea
They've got a lot of international addons.  Smiley
